Government commits to a Living Wage for Social Care workers

In its Programme for Government 2021-2026, Welsh Government has set out its intention to pay social care workers a real Living Wage. Founded on the ‘distinctively Welsh values of community, equality and social justice’ the Programme aims to show how the Government will help NHS and care workers ‘recover and move forward’ following COVID 19.
