Established in January 2022, the Living Wage Steering Group for Mid & West Wales is working to increase the number of workers paid the real Living Wage across Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Powys, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

The Steering Group is currently putting together an action plan to be officially recognised by the Living Wage Foundation as Wales’ first Living Wage Region, following the success of Cardiff as a Living Wage City.

Members of the group include Dyfed Powys Police & Crime Commissioner’s Office, Cynnal Cymru – Sustain Wales, Burns Pet Nutrition, University of Wales Trinity St David, Swansea MAD, West Wales Holiday Cottages, TeTrimTeas and Citizens Advice Swansea & NPT. If you are interested in joining the steering group, please let us know.
