The National Social Value Conference: Wales returns this November. Last year, there was hugely successful 2-day virtual conference with over 800 delegates from across Public Bodies and Anchor Institutions in Wales, and we expect this year’s event to be even bigger.
Cynnal Cymru and representatives from Cardiff Council and Cardiff University will be hosting a workshop on The Living Wage and Fair Work in Wales as part of the Social Value Portal Conference Wales.
The event is supported by the National Social Value Taskforce in Wales, including members of the Welsh Government, the WLGA and the Well-being & Future Generations Office. This year’s theme will be “Leading the Movement”, encouraging businesses and communities across Wales to lead the way in the delivery of Social Value in Wales. The conference will also feature a regional Social Value Award ceremony, which will celebrate nominations and winners from the Welsh sector who are achieving great momentum with their work.
