LIVING WAGE PLACES RECOGNISES AND CELEBRATES THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS THAT ARE DOING MORE TO EXPAND LIVING WAGE ACCREDITATION.

From Living Wage buildings and zones to towns, cities, boroughs and regions, these are the places where communities and businesses are working together to tackle low pay within their localities.

We want to create a nation of Living Wage places. We are here to support local authorities and leading organisations across Wales to create the resulting benefits to employers, workers and the local economy.

If just a quarter of those on low incomes saw their pay rise to the real Living Wage in ten of the UK’s major city regions, a subsequent increase in wages, productivity and spending could deliver a £1.1 billion economic boost to major UK cities.
