Urban Foundry – Every Business Should Pay the Real Living Wage

We paid a visit to the Urban Foundry team at HQ Urban Kitchen in Swansea and Tara Tarapetian a Director of Urban Foundry shared their thoughts on why paying the real Living Wage is important to them.

“It’s really important to us at Urban Foundry to pay the real Living Wage to our staff, because it shows that we appreciate the work that they do for us. It aligns with our values as a B Corp, and it also makes great business sense.

We don’t just pay the real Living Wage to our Urban Foundry staff, we pay it across all of our projects that includes Swansea Bay Street markets, the Pop Ups project, and also HQ and the café.”

Tara Tarapetian, Director, Urban Foundry.
